Whether your plans consist of a Summer corporate event, summer camp, vacations, family reunions, 4th of July parties, team sports or all of the above, you can make your Summer fun even better with one-of-a-kind screen-printed t-shirts.
Every year we guide our customers through the process of selecting, designing and printing t-shirts for Summer corporate events, summer camp t-shirts, family reunion t-shirts and vacation t-shirts.
Ahead of this year’s Summer season, we want to share some of our best advice for printing Summer Camp T-Shirts and t-shirts for special Corporate events and outings.
Best Practices for Corporate Event and Summer Camp T-Shirts
Let us save you some time thinking about what to include in your design. Here are some simple guidelines that you should follow when designing and ordering event/summer camp t-shirts.
Here are our recommendations for getting the best summer camp t-shirts and t-shirts for special events:
1. Always include your logo.
This may seem obvious, but we had to say it.
2. Include the URL to your website.
Think of each t-shirt as a walking advertisement with the potential for unlimited impressions. Take advantage of this opportunity to let people know where to find you.
3. Differentiate Your Staff T-Shirts from your Participant T-Shirts
We recommend having different color t-shirts for participants/campers and different types of staff so it’s easy to tell them apart. We also recommend imprinting the shirts for staff with “STAFF, DIRECTOR”, etc. as seen in these examples from Cherokee YMCA Summer Camp and Club SciKidz/TechScientific Summer Camps.
4. Include a date? ..It depends…
For Summer Camps, before you include a date on a t-shirt, consider if any excess t-shirts can be used the following year if you fall short on shirts. We usually recommend never putting a date especially for the camper shirts for this reason.
You may consider including a date on Staff shirts, as they are always a different color and usually have an imprint on the back. You are far less likely to have a large number of excess staff shirts.
For one-time special events such as a Corporate outing or Family Reunion, including the date is perfectly acceptable.
5. ALWAYS, ALWAYS order extra!
It’s always better to be overstocked than caught without enough t-shirts for your campers. If you follow the advice from #4 above, you can use any excess as backup in the following season.
6. Order Early!
Allow at least 20-30 days for printing…there is a busy season and it is called CAMP SEASON.
7. Save money by keeping the color simple.
White shirts are the least expensive!
